Ukraine
What I was doing in Ukraine is a direct result of my next post and last stop in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. I had to be there on business to meet my team. I will however mention that there is an article that rates the cities with the hottest girls in the world, and Kiev, Ukraine was rated # 1. You could imagine being in a city filled with poor hot gorgeous down to earth woman, while being an American comes with the assumption that we all have money, and you start to get the picture of how popular I was. For those of you of you who are wondering what other cities made the list; Stockholm Sweden came in # 2 and NYC # 3, but only because NYC has women from so many places in the world.
While I was there I decided to check out one of the biggest pilgrimages that nobody has ever heard of. There are 30,000 crazy fanatical Hasidics’ that come from all over the world to pray at this Rabbis grave in a small village 4 hours from Kiev. It is a sight to see! The village is like turning back the clock two hundred years, and the villagers move into their cars and the Hasidim over run the town high on the spiritual journey of this Rabbi that lived 250 years ago. The Rabbi instructed everyone to leave their families for the Jewish New Year, and go to his grave-and no need to pray. He promised to grant any wish and pull them out of hell no matter what. So thirty thousand fanatics and no women, amounts to the craziest circus in town. So I decided to visit the Genie and get my “Get out of Jail Free card” It is honestly one of the most amazing sites to see, it has a crazy profound effect on these people. Its like watching those Sunday church services, where people start having seizures when they get filled with the lord, and you are sure that this is fake or a hoax, but after seeing this you can imagine its possible to get high off some spiritual feeling, for these people who seem completely nuts to me, most of them have been non-religious at some point, involved in biker gangs, had tattoos, and there they were with beards and locks and shaved heads acting like the same hooligans only this time they are gods lunatics. It is an experience unmatched anywhere in the world! Between Burning Man, Uman-Ukraine and, Riyadh Saudi Arabia, I had officially experienced three of the most different and opposite ends on the spectrum of experiences, all in the same month.
