Romania

Romania and Bulgaria don’t get along. We had an SUV rented from Bulgaria so we got many looks driving around. We visited the following cities: Bucharest,Constanta,Varna,Golden Sands,Sunny Beach, Sofia.

Bucharest

Bucharest is a beautiful city and they absolutely love Americans. It reminded me of Hungary but they have invaded each other so many times that the border lines are still unclear and many citizens still don’t know what they are. I realized that countries go to was for stupid reasons like, boredom, generate some revenue, fun, but mostly boredom. Now if you are going to look for war the first country you will fight is your neighbor since you don’t have to travel so far to fight. Logically they should fight richer countries, but they are like “why am I traveling to fight, I can fight right here”. Its too much work getting our tanks and supplies that far, let’s just fuck with our neighbor and we can call it a day. That is why every country in Europe has had multiple wars with their neighboring country, and they all hate each other, because hating someone far away just seems pointless. It’s like Americans and racism, why hate Africans on the other side of the world, let’s just bring them here so we can hate them here.

Constanta

We had a car and the plan was to drive down the coast, going through all the beach town parties, staying around the coast all the way down to Serbia. The idea was to find the vacationers for the beach and party with them. Well nobody gave them the memo that the summer started and we arrived to a deserted town. The party consisted of a party of two, make that three as my friend was still finding the comfort of a warm hand shake. In Bucharest the massage places are all Full service, and the strip clubs are all brothels. Needless to say this made for some interesting conversation. The food was the worst we ever had. This combination made everyone look at us like we were nuts going to visit there, it seemed like even the ones there didn’t want to be there. We had the same feeling in Bulgaria, but in Bulgaria the mafia controlled every aspect of living.
