Helsinki Finland
We had a two day stop in Helsinki and it was terrible. If you are doing a world tour where you just check out the service of different hotels, this stop would have been perfect, since we hardly left the hotel. It was raining and depressing, the people were unfriendly and miserable and the energy of the city would be perfect if you would be setting the mood for a suicide attempt.
I always thought New Zealanders were the ugliest people but I was wrong! The Fins or the Finnish, or the angry birds are way uglier. It was a regular freak show there. The only time I suggest going to this city is if you committed a horrible crime and were escaping the death penalty, and Finland had no extradition treaties with your country. Ok, that’s a bit harsh, it’s really a great place to visit if you want to miss the country you are from.
The highlight of the trip was a casino, and we were picking up seventeen year old girls that looked twenty five. It was a bit creepy but then again, it’s only creepy to other people. My buddy who has a serious gambling problem was so excited that he won two hundred Euros, he actually insisted I put it in the blog. He now has four hundred and ninety nine thousand eight hundred dollars to go, to break even.
We were excited to leave and it’s off to Stockholm.
